Product Description

The Air-Liquid Fusion CDU Coolant Distribution Unit is a revolutionary infrastructure solution designed to bridge the gap between traditional air cooling and modern liquid cooling. By integrating both cooling technologies into a single unit, it enables zero-modification deployment in existing data centers.

The SY-LAI-190 Cold Plate Cooling CDU is the 150 kW model of our air-liquid fusion coolant distribution unit line. It pairs a 150 kW cold plate loop with a 40 kW air-cooling section inside a single 600 x 1200 x 2000 mm cabinet, so one unit serves both the liquid-cooled and the air-cooled servers in a row.

Because both heat paths terminate in the same unit, a hall can be converted rack by rack without building a separate liquid-cooling plant first. The unit holds 150 kW of liquid capacity for direct-to-chip cold plates and 40 kW of air capacity for the remaining air-cooled load, at a rated input power of 22.3 kW, and it fits the same 600 mm aisle footprint as the racks it supports.

Ten-Module Air-Side Fan Array

Ten-Module Air-Side Fan Array

Ten large axial fan modules are mounted on the perforated front door in five rows of two, and together they form the 40 kW air-cooling side of the unit. Because the whole door face is open, air passes straight through the full height of the cabinet instead of being drawn around it — so the air-cooled servers sharing the row stay supplied while the cold plate loop runs at its full 150 kW.


Touchscreen Load Balancing on the Door

A colour touchscreen sits above the fan array on the front door and is the single operating point of the unit. From it the air-to-liquid cooling ratio is balanced in real time against the actual IT load, so liquid-cooled and air-cooled servers can run side by side in one rack while the move to higher density is made rack by rack rather than all at once.

Self-Fastening (e.g., CGN/CGQ) uses an internal steel ball mechanism to lock the connection manually. Blind Connection (e.g., CGB) has no internal lock and relies on external force (like sliding a server into a chassis) to maintain connection, enabling automatic docking.
2. Which sealing material should I choose for data center cooling?
For standard data center coolants like Ethylene Glycol (EG) or Deionized Water, EPDM is recommended due to its excellent compatibility and temperature range (-45°C to 150°C).
3. Do you support customized interfaces?
Yes, we offer a variety of interface modes including Internal Thread, External Thread, Flange, Pagoda (Barb), and Union connectors to match your existing piping infrastructure.
4. Can the SY-LAI-190 be installed next to existing air-cooled racks?
Yes. The unit carries a 40 kW air-cooling section alongside its 150 kW cold plate loop, so air-cooled and liquid-cooled servers can share the same row while a hall is converted in stages. Load is balanced between the two paths in real time, and the 600 x 1200 x 2000 mm cabinet occupies a standard aisle footprint, so no raised floor or separate cooling room is required.
