Product Description

The Air-Liquid Fusion CDU Coolant Distribution Unit is a revolutionary infrastructure solution designed to bridge the gap between traditional air cooling and modern liquid cooling. By integrating both cooling technologies into a single unit, it enables zero-modification deployment in existing data centers.

The SY-LAI-140 is an air-liquid fusion coolant distribution unit built for data centers that still run both air-cooled and liquid-cooled servers. In one 600 mm wide cabinet it combines a 100 kW cold-plate loop with a 40 kW air-cooling side, so both server types can share the same row.

Ten axial fan modules sit on the perforated front door, and a colour touchscreen above them balances the air-to-liquid cooling ratio against the real IT load. With a 21.8 kW rated input power and dimensions of 600 x 1200 x 2000 mm, the unit is installed in-row without rebuilding the hall's cooling infrastructure.

Product Features

Ten-Module Air-Side Fan Array

100 kW Liquid + 40 kW Air in One Unit

Ten axial fan modules in five rows of two form the 40 kW air-cooling side on the perforated front door, while the cold-plate loop adds 100 kW of liquid capacity. One cabinet therefore serves air-cooled and liquid-cooled servers that share the same row, without a separate air-cooling train.

Door-Mounted Touchscreen Balancing

A colour touchscreen sits above the fan array on the front door and acts as the single operating point of the unit. From it the air-to-liquid cooling ratio is balanced against the actual IT load, so the move to higher density happens rack by rack instead of all at once.

FAQ

1. What is the difference between Self-Fastening and Blind Connection?
Self-Fastening (e.g., CGN/CGQ) uses an internal steel ball mechanism to lock the connection manually. Blind Connection (e.g., CGB) has no internal lock and relies on external force (like sliding a server into a chassis) to maintain connection, enabling automatic docking.
2. Which sealing material should I choose for data center cooling?
For standard data center coolants like Ethylene Glycol (EG) or Deionized Water, EPDM is recommended due to its excellent compatibility and temperature range (-45°C to 150°C).
3. Do you support customized interfaces?
Yes, we offer a variety of interface modes including Internal Thread, External Thread, Flange, Pagoda (Barb), and Union connectors to match your existing piping infrastructure.
4. What are the liquid and air cooling capacities of the SY-LAI-140?
The SY-LAI-140 provides 100 kW of liquid (cold-plate) cooling capacity and 40 kW of air cooling capacity, with a rated input power of 21.8 kW. The two sides work in parallel inside one cabinet.
5. What is the footprint of the SY-LAI-140?
The cabinet measures 600 x 1200 x 2000 mm and is designed for in-row installation, so it can be placed alongside standard racks without extra plant space.
