Product Description

The SOETECK ICDC40 (40ft) Series serves as a robust alternative to traditional brick-and-mortar data centers. Available in standard (Type A) and high-density (Type B) configurations, this 40ft High Cube solution supports total IT loads of up to 72kW. It is the preferred choice for enterprises, government bodies, and hyperscalers needing rapid capacity expansion.

Designed for mission-critical operations, the ICDC40 features a fully redundant power architecture with N+1 Modular UPS systems (up to 120kVA) and extended battery backup. The spacious interior accommodates up to 12 racks with ample room for maintenance, while the integrated fire suppression and intelligent DCIM monitoring systems ensure asset safety and 24/7 operational visibility.

Enterprise-Grade Power Architecture

The ICDC40-Type B integrates a powerful 120kVA Modular UPS with N+1 redundancy. The system includes an intelligent 3-in-1 power distribution cabinet that manages UPS input/output and precision cooling power. This integrated design saves 68% of space compared to traditional setups, leaving more room for your IT servers.

Optimized Thermal Management

Utilizing enclosed Cold/Hot aisle containment, the ICDC40 eliminates hot spots and maximizes cooling efficiency. The variable-speed In-Row cooling units adapt dynamically to the server load. Combined with the insulated container walls (R-value optimized), this system achieves a PUE as low as 1.2, significantly reducing OpEx.

FAQ

1. What are the primary applications for Container Data Centers?
Container Data Centers (CDCs) are ideal for rapid capacity expansion, disaster recovery, and edge computing. They are widely used in remote oil & gas sites, military operations, large-scale sporting events, and as modular building blocks for hyperscale data centers.
2. What are the key advantages over traditional data centers?
The main benefits include speed of deployment (weeks instead of years), mobility, and scalability. Because they are factory-pre-integrated and tested, they minimize on-site construction risks and offer a "pay-as-you-grow" financial model.
3. How do containers withstand harsh outdoor environments?
CDCs are built using ruggedized ISO steel enclosures with high-grade insulation and IP55/IP65 ratings. They are designed to operate in extreme temperatures (from -40°C to +55°C) and feature specialized coatings to resist corrosion, salt spray, and sandstorms.
4. Are Container Data Centers energy efficient?
Yes. By using contained cold/hot aisles and close-coupled cooling (In-Row), CDCs significantly reduce energy waste. This precision cooling allows many units to achieve a Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) as low as 1.15 to 1.3, making them more efficient than many traditional facilities.
5. What internal systems are included in a standard unit?
A standard CDC is an all-in-one solution including power distribution (UPS/ATS), cooling systems, fire suppression (FM200 or Novec 1230), smart environmental monitoring (DCIM), and physical security/access control systems.
