Product Description

The SOETECK 40ft Cold Plate Container Data Center is a factory-built modular data center engineered around a rack-mounted CDU and a distributed liquid manifold. Moving coolant distribution into the rack line returns the aisle footprint that in-row cooling would otherwise occupy — so a single 40ft High Cube is rated for 14 racks at 50 kW per rack, for 700 kW of total IT capacity.

Cold plates, manifold, secondary loop and leak detection are piped, pressure-tested and commissioned in our factory before the unit ships. Power distribution, aisle containment, fire suppression and monitoring arrive already integrated, which turns a multi-year construction project into a matter of weeks on site.

Because the architecture is assembled from modular blocks, capacity can be added rack by rack or container by container — so capital spend tracks real demand instead of a decade-old forecast.

Product Features

Mobile Modular Data Center Solutions 40ft Container

Rack-Mounted CDU with Distributed Manifold

The heart of this 40ft container is a rack-mounted CDU feeding a distributed liquid manifold that runs the length of the hall. Because coolant is distributed at the rack instead of from a dedicated in-row unit, no floor space is surrendered to cooling equipment: the layout fits 14 racks into a single 40ft High Cube, each provisioned for 50 kW of cold-plate load and 700 kW in total.

Liquid Cooling Engineered for 50 kW Racks

Cold plate cooling captures heat at the processor instead of relying on air to carry it away. The manifold and liquid loop are assembled and pressure-tested in the factory, then shipped as one sealed module. Matched to the container aisle containment, this keeps the cooling system sized for 50 kW per rack without the fan power and hot spots that cap air-cooled halls.

FAQ

1. Can I combine multiple modular 40ft data center containers?
Yes. This is the essence of Modular Construction. You can deploy multiple 40ft units side-by-side or stack them to create a large-scale data center park. They function like building blocks, allowing you to scale capacity linearly with demand.
2. How many racks does the 40ft cold plate container hold?
A single 40ft High Cube holds 14 racks. Because the CDU sits in the rack line rather than in the aisle, all fourteen rack positions stay available for revenue equipment, and the container is rated for 700 kW of total IT capacity.
3. Is fire protection pre-installed in the modular data center container?
Yes. Each modular ICDC40 data center container arrives with a self-contained gas fire extinguishing system (FM200/Novec 1230) already piped and wired. This eliminates the need for complex on-site fire engineering and testing.
4. How does the modular airflow design work?
We use a factory-sealed Cold Aisle/Hot Aisle Containment architecture. Heat is captured at the chip by cold plates and rejected through the rack-mounted CDU, so the aisle no longer has to carry the IT load. The modular integration process ensures airtight seals that are difficult to achieve with on-site construction, improving cooling efficiency by 25%.
5. Does the modular data center container include switchgear for grid connection?
Yes, the main power distribution cabinet is pre-integrated with an ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch). It is ready to connect to your utility grid and backup generator immediately upon delivery.
6. What does a rack-mounted CDU change compared with in-row cooling?
In-row cooling reserves aisle floor space for the cooling units themselves. Here the CDU and its distributed liquid manifold sit in the rack line, so that footprint is returned to revenue equipment — the same 40ft High Cube carries 14 racks at 50 kW per rack, for 700 kW of total capacity.
7. Does the container ship with the liquid cooling loop already installed?
Yes. The rack-mounted CDUs, the distributed manifold and the liquid loop are mounted, piped and pressure-tested in our factory before shipment. The container leaves as one tested module, so on-site work is limited to positioning it and connecting power and fluid.
