No raised floor is required. The system supports top and bottom piping/cabling, allowing installation on standard concrete or tiled floors, which reduces civil engineering costs.
6. Is the cooling system redundant?
For this rack-mounted cooling configuration, each cabinet typically has its own dedicated AC. You can configure N+1 redundancy by keeping one cabinet empty or spreading the load, ensuring high availability.
7. How much IT load can one integrated cabinet carry?
The rack-mounted precision AC inside the cabinet covers 3.5 kW - 7.5 kW of cooling, which supports a 3 - 6 kW IT load in a standard 42U enclosure. When your load grows past that, you add further cabinets to the same row rather than exchanging the unit.
